Description

Delicious and crispy Voodoo Egg Rolls filled with shrimp, crab, sausage, and a creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup of crab meat
  • 1/2 cup of cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the chopped shrimp, crab meat, crumbled sausage, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning in a large mixing bowl until evenly coated.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean, flat surface and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, and roll tightly from the bottom to the top, using a little water to seal the edges.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C), ensuring enough oil to submerge the egg rolls.
  5. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and let them drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy the compliments!

Notes

For a vegetarian twist, substitute seafood with a mix of sautéed vegetables.
