Description
A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring sausage, garlic, and a sweet honey sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces pasta of your choice (spaghetti, penne, or fussili)
- 1 pound sausage (Italian, chicken, or any preferred variety)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, add the pasta, and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant—be careful not to burn it!
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sausage mixture. Stir until every piece is well coated in the sticky sauce.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to customize ingredients based on your pantry or dietary preferences. Turkey sausage can be a leaner option, and gluten-free pasta can work seamlessly as well.
