Ingredients

  • 1 package of Lil’ Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the pineapple chunks, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Stir the mixture until the brown sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the Lil’ Smokies to the pot and stir to coat them evenly.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 120 minutes, or until the bites are heated through and bubbly.
  5. Serve warm and watch them disappear!

Notes

You can prepare the mixture a day in advance and adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
