Description

A comforting casserole that captures the essence of a classic Philly cheesesteak, combining steak, sautéed vegetables, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the steak in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking until softened, around 4-5 minutes.
  4. Mix in the cauliflower rice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Marinate steak for extra flavor; consider cooking veggies al dente for a nice texture contrast.
