- Butter
Instructions
- Butter the bread: Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Add the pesto: On the unbuttered side of one slice, evenly spread a layer of pesto.
- Layer the cheese: Place your chosen cheese slices on top of the pesto, ensuring an even coverage.
- Assemble the sandwich: Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Heat the skillet: Warm a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sandwich: Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip and cook the other side: Carefully flip the sandwich and cook until the second side is golden and the cheese melts, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Slice and serve: Remove from heat, slice in half, and enjoy immediately!
