Description

Crispy oven-fried feta rolls filled with creamy feta and ricotta, drizzled with sweet and spicy chili honey.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 8 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1 package Phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup Melted butter
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine feta and ricotta in a bowl, add salt, pepper, and herbs; mix well.
  3. Lay out phyllo dough, brush with melted butter.
  4. Place a spoonful of cheese mixture on phyllo and roll tightly, tucking in ends.
  5. Brush the top with olive oil and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Prepare chili honey while baking by heating honey and chili flakes until bubbling.
  8. Drizzle chili honey over rolls before serving.

Notes

You can layer two sheets of phyllo for extra crunch. Let cheese sit at room temperature before mixing for better blending.
