Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk

  2. Combine the ground beef, chopped mushrooms, shredded Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Allow the meatloaf to cool for a few minutes before slicing for serving.

Notes

For a firmer loaf, consider chilling the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before shaping and baking.
