Description

A flavorful combination of ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, and melted cheese topped with crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and any additional spices like garlic powder or smoked paprika.
  3. Prepare the baking dish by greasing it lightly, then place the seasoned chicken inside.
  4. Brush each breast generously with BBQ sauce and top with ranch dressing for an extra flavor punch.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for about 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with crispy fried onions.
  8. Let it rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For even cooking, choose chicken breasts of similar sizes and consider flattening thicker ones. Marinade chicken overnight in ranch dressing for more intense flavor.
