Description

Crispy, golden-fried morsels bursting with spicy buffalo flavor and gooey mozzarella, perfect for game day or late-night snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground chicken, 1/4 cup buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Fold in the mozzarella cheese and crumbled bacon.
  2. Shape about 2 tablespoons of chicken mixture into balls and place them on a plate.
  3. Prepare a coating station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three shallow dishes.
  4. Coat each chicken ball by rolling in flour, dipping in eggs, and finally coating with breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the coats in hot vegetable oil (about 350°F) for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and drizzle with remaining buffalo sauce.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and crisp.

Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese, and alongside crunchy veggies like celery and carrot sticks.
