Description

A quick and flavorful summer side dish featuring fresh corn coated in garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of corn
  • 4 tablespoons of garlic butter
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill (or oven) to medium-high heat.
  2. Husk the corn and remove any silks.
  3. Brush the corn generously with garlic butter, ensuring it’s well-coated on all sides.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste for added flavor.
  5. Place the corn directly on the grill grates or on a baking sheet if using the oven.
  6. Roast or grill the corn for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally to achieve an even golden-brown color.
  7. Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle the hot corn with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chili powder or cayenne pepper to the garlic butter. You can also experiment with different cheeses like feta or Cotija.
