Description
A comforting bowl of Garlic Butter Chicken Linguine with rich garlic butter, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked linguine, perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the linguine according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large skillet heated over medium, melt the butter until it’s bubbly.
- Add in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about a minute until the garlic is fragrant and golden.
- Season the chicken breasts using salt and pepper. Gently place them in the skillet, cooking for about 6-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the heat and allow it to rest briefly before slicing it into strips.
- In that same skillet, toss in the cooked linguine, coating it thoroughly in the garlic butter.
- Finally, slice the rested chicken and arrange it over the linguine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables to balance the richness. A rustic bread on the side goes perfectly for dipping into that flavorful garlic sauce.
