Description

Delicious crispy chicken bites infused with sweet honey BBQ sauce, cooked effortlessly in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray for the air fryer basket

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the honey, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, coating each piece evenly; cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Once cooked, let the bites rest for a few minutes before serving hot.

Notes

Marinate overnight for maximum flavor. Optionally, add cornstarch for extra crispiness.
