- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray for the air fryer basket
Instructions
- Whisk together the honey, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, coating each piece evenly; cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, let the bites rest for a few minutes before serving hot.
Notes
Marinate overnight for maximum flavor. Optionally, add cornstarch for extra crispiness.
