Delicious cookies combining the richness of French silk pie with the crunch of Oreos, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup black cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate mousse (prepared or homemade)
  • Chocolate shavings for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Mix together the black cocoa powder, flour, and crushed Oreo cookies in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set.
  8. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  9. Top each cookie with chocolate mousse and whipped cream.
  10. Decorate with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping. Use softened butter for best results.
