- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate mousse (prepared or homemade)
- Chocolate shavings for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Mix together the black cocoa powder, flour, and crushed Oreo cookies in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set.
- Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Top each cookie with chocolate mousse and whipped cream.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before scooping. Use softened butter for best results.
