- 4 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup (100 g) of finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (120 g) of breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the chicken by pounding it between plastic wrap to about 1-inch thickness.
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Create your breading station: beat the eggs in one bowl, and mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan in another.
- Bread the chicken by dipping it in the egg, then coating it with the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
- Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Make the sauce by melting butter or heating olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, then sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream, simmer for 5 minutes, and season to taste.
Notes
Ensure even cooking by pounding the chicken to a uniform thickness. For an extra-crispy texture, use Panko breadcrumbs.
