A delightful twist on the classic crab rangoon, these crispy bomb-like treats combine rich cream cheese and crab meat encased in fluffy biscuit dough.
Ingredients

- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 8 oz Imitation Crab Meat
- 3 stalks Green Onions
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough
- 1 large Egg
- as needed Cooking Spray or Oil
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by combining cream cheese and imitation crab meat in a bowl.
- Add chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Shape the bombs by flattening individual pieces of biscuit dough.
- Fill each dough piece with a tablespoon of the crab mixture and seal.
- Fry the filled balls for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a lighter option, use cottage cheese instead of cream cheese and substitute real crab for imitation crab. These bombs can also be baked at 375°F (190°C) for a healthier version.
