Description

A delightful dish combines crispy beef and vibrant broccoli with egg noodles for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 12 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • To taste: salt
  • To taste: pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the sliced beef with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the beef in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Transfer the crispy beef to a paper towel-lined plate.
  5. Sauté minced ginger and garlic in the pan for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir-fry broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  7. Return the crispy beef to the pan, add the noodles and sauces, and toss for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with green onions, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For extra flavor, add rice vinegar or chili flakes when tossing the noodles.
