- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine the water, butter, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Form the dough by stirring in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla until it pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Cool the dough for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe small rounds or stars of dough onto parchment paper, leaving space between each.
- Spray with cooking spray and cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Roll the warm churro bites in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
