- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces spiral pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese to create a smooth sauce.
- Cook the spiral pasta according to the package instructions. Once ready, drain it and add it to the creamy sauce.
- Slice the rested chicken and lay it atop the pasta. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in the sauce, then serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best flavor.
