- 2 tablespoons Butter (unsalted preferred)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated is preferred)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried oregano, and basil.
- Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until melted and creamy.
- Combine: Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish and serve: Transfer to serving plates, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and enjoy.
