Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Dutch Process Baking Cocoa
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (plus additional for coating)
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 tbsp Milk (1%, 2%, or Fat-free)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 10 oz bag of Hershey Caramel Kisses
- Sea Salt Flakes (optional)
- Salted Caramel Sugar (optional)
- Dark Cocoa Sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Reduce mixer speed and gradually combine dry mixture until incorporated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough for at least one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line cookie sheets.
- Scoop and roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then coat with granulated sugar.
- Place the balls on the cookie sheet, spacing them apart, and add sea salt if desired.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes, then press a Hershey Caramel Kiss into each cookie.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
Notes
For better results, use room temperature ingredients and chill the dough for enhanced flavor.
