Description

A comforting one-pan meal combining tender chicken, delicious ham, creamy Swiss cheese, and a crunchy breadcrumb topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, and Swiss cheese in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Whisk together the milk, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken and ham mix, ensuring all ingredients are well-coated.
  5. Transfer the combined mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Add the breadcrumbs on top of the casserole, mixing with melted butter for extra crispiness if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Cool slightly before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
