Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
- 3 garlic cloves, freshly minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the chicken in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente and reserve a splash of the pasta water.
- Make the sauce by melting butter in the same skillet, adding garlic, and sautéing until fragrant.
- Combine chicken broth and heavy cream, simmering until it thickens slightly.
- Add the Parmesan cheese gradually, stirring until creamy. Adjust with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Final assembly by adding sliced chicken and cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve garnished with extra Parmesan and herbs, if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream. You can also include vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
