- 4 brioche buns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cook the chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground chicken until it’s fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add vegetables: Toss in the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for another 4-5 minutes, until softened.
- Season it up: Stir in the Cajun seasoning, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Make the cheese sauce: In a separate saucepan over low heat, combine cheddar cheese and heavy cream. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Toast the buns: Cut brioche buns in half and toast until golden brown.
- Assemble the Sloppy Joes: Spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, drizzle with cheese sauce, and top with the other bun half.
- Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately while warm.
