  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 medium Sweet Onions (such as Vidalia)
  • Cooking Spray or Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the onions by peeling and cutting the top. Make four deep cuts to create a flower shape.
  2. Soak the onions in a mixture of buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Coat each onion in the flour mixture, ensuring every petal is covered.
  5. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
