- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 medium Sweet Onions (such as Vidalia)
- Cooking Spray or Oil
Instructions
- Prepare the onions by peeling and cutting the top. Make four deep cuts to create a flower shape.
- Soak the onions in a mixture of buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat each onion in the flour mixture, ensuring every petal is covered.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
